Rainsville Family Practice, LLC is pleased to offer a wide range of outpatient services to address the needs of your entire family or business.

We welcome patients of all ages, including children.

Appointments and Hours: 8am-5pm Monday – Friday

Appointments are encouraged, but same day visits and walk-in visits are welcome – no appointment is required*.

       *Please realize we will see the appointed patients first. Thank you for your patience.

Emergency visits always receive the highest priority**.

      **In the case of unstable life-threatening emergencies, please go directly to the emergency room.

Problems treated in our office include:

  • Acute illness (upper respiratory illnesses, gastroenteritis, UTI, etc.)

  • Health screening services – complete physicals including PAP smears, sports physicals, pre-employment physicals, and CDL physicals

  • Workplace injuries and drug screens (with prior notification)

  • Chronic medical conditions (hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, dementia, and much more)

  • Sports injuries

  • Minor sprains and fractures

  • Pediatric medical problems and check-ups

  • Minor skin surgery and biopsies

  • Repair of minor lacerations

Dr. Horton admits to DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne, AL.
Nursing Home Care 

Dr. Horton is not currently providing nursing home care on a regular basis at this time, but this is being re-evaluated.
